Do you produce programs that are based on scientifically-based research?
All of Sunburst Visual Media programs are based on foundational research. In addition, we recently completed a year-long field study conducted by the independent research firm Main Street Academix, in the New Hampshire schools.
Approving online orders
What should I do if I need to change something in my order when I am on the approve order page?
Use our pull down menu to select either Shipping Information or Billing Information and click on the change button. You will then go to the correct page where you can make your changes.
Billing
Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover. For Canadian customers, we can only accept Mastercard and Visa.
Who qualifies and how do I set up an open account with Sunburst Visual Media?
Public schools, Boards of Education, and municipalities are eligible. First time customers will need to fax (1-888-803-3908) a copy of their signed P.O. or letterhead for the order to be processed. Established customers (those who have ordered before by P.O.) should not fax a duplicate P.O. It is very important that we do not receive a duplicate or confirming P.O. via mail or fax. If we receive a duplicate or confirmation P.O. from established customers via mail or fax and ship a second order, they are responsible for the cost of returning the second order to us or, if the order is not returned, they are required to pay the full value of the order.
How can I order using a personal check?
You may place an order using a personal check by mail only. If you don’t have a catalog with an order form, you can download one by clicking here. Simply complete the form, attach your check and mail it to:

What are Sunburst Visual Media's credit terms and conditions?
Net 30 days and payment must be in U.S. dollars.
My organization is exempt from state sales tax. How do I ensure that I am not charged sales tax?
According to the law, we are legally obligated to charge you tax unless we have your tax exempt certificate on file. Therefore, your order will show the tax until we receive a copy of your tax exempt certificate. You may fax it to us at 1-888-803-3908 or mail it to P.O. Box 9120 Plainview, NY 11803-9020 The sooner you send it to us, the sooner we can remove the tax.
Do I need to add sales tax?
You will need to pay sales tax if your order is being shipped in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, IN, MO, NV, NY, SD, and TX. In addition, you are legally obligated to pay tax on your shipping and handling charges if your order is shipped to CO, IN, MO, NY, SD and TX. As the tax depends on your zip code, our checkout system will automatically tabulate it for you. Please note this is an estimate and may vary slightly.

What if I don`t receive an email confirmation on my order?
Call our Customer Service Department at 1-800-431-1934 and be sure to have your confirmation number from your Order Confirmation page. Do not re-enter your order as it may be duplicated and you will be responsible for the charges on both orders.

Will I be notified on backorders?
If all of the products in your order are backordered, we will call or email you. If only some of the products in your order are on backorder, we will ship you what is in stock and the enclosed packing slip will notify you about the backordered product(s).

MARC records
What are your charges for MARC records?
Sunburst Media offers complete MARC records for only $2.00 per title. We also offer labels forn an additional $.50/title and Bar Codes for an additional $.50 per title.

Is there a way I can place an order without having to bring up each individual product page?
Yes, you can use our Catalog QuickShop page. Simply enter all the product numbers listed in your catalog along with the quantity and they will all be added to your cart.

Where will Sunburst Visual Media ship to?
Sunburst Visual Media will only ship to addresses in United States, United States Territories, and Canada.
Can my order be shipped to multiple locations?
Yes, we can do that for you. However, you will need to place your order by phone (1-800-431-1934)or fax(1-888-803-3908).
What are your shipping and handling charges?

How can I express ship my order?
If you are shipping to a location within the Continental United States, you may ship either Next Day or Second Day service for an additional charge.
How long will it take for me to get an order if I select Next Day and Second Day service?
Next Day and Second Day orders are based on orders received by noon E.S.T. and require 24 hours processing time in addition to the shipping day(s). Customers are responsible for any applicable taxes and duties.
How soon will I get my order if it is shipped via Best Service(Standard)?
Most in-stock orders ship within 24 hours and are delivered to you within 1-3 business days. Please allow an additional 1-3 business days in the summer (with high back to school volume, we recommend ordering early). Truck shipments may take longer. If specifying delivery dates, please specify only weekday dates. Custom imprinted items take additional time. Please contact Customer Service for information regarding schedule of delivery.

If you deem any product inappropriate for your classroom or library we will accept its return if it is shipped back in 100% resalable condition within 60 days of purchase. What is a Value Pack and how do customers benefit from ordering them?
Our Value Packs include both the VHS and DVD formats of the same title in one package for one low price. That’s right, two for the price of one! What is a Teacher Version and what makes them different from other video programs that include teacher’s guides?
Our Teacher Versions provide you with a unique format that features both VHS and DVD formats, as well as over 40 pages of teaching materials! Other publishers claiming that their videos “include additional teaching materials” usually only offer a few pages of information. When you buy a Teacher Version, you receive 40 pages of lesson plans, reproducible activities, assessment tools, curriculum integration suggestions, expansion ideas, and much more!

What is your return policy?
Sunburst Visual Media guarantees 100% satisfaction on every product or your money back. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply call us at 1-800-431-1934 to arrange for a return. We will accept its return if you contact us for an R/A number and it is shipped back in 100% resalable condition within 60 days of delivery. A proof of purchase is required for any refund or exchange. If you receive a damaged product, call us within 60 days after it has been delivered to you and we will issue an R/A number, ship you a replacement for which you will be billed for and credit that order once the damaged product has been returned.
If you call us after 60 days of our delivering the product, we will send you a replacement, however you will be charged an additional $10.00 plus shipping and handling. In either case, you will need to have your order number when you call in order for us to process your request. If you receive an incomplete or incorrect order, call our customer service department at 1-800-431-1934 and one of our representatives will be sure to address the issue right away.
